Wild redwood clean up

 Yesterday room 4 went to the redwoods to clean up for our SVA. We had a really fun time. Even though there was hardly any rubbish there were  lots of sticks and mud to pick and clean up. The walk into and out of the redwoods had an amazing view. We even saw some natives birds like a Tui and kereru  but it was really dangerous at some parts because there really big bluffs and banks and it was really slippery and wet. At the redwoods we worked hard for about half an hour then had lunch which the caterers made. Mabey next time we could stay there for longer.

The best day of my holiday !!!

In the holidays the best day I had was when I went to Napier with Lucy. First went to the skate park and kept falling off our skate boards. then we went to lick this to get an ice cream Then skated to mini put put and played it Lucy won. Next we walked from put put to Mcdonalds for lunch. Then we went to the pump track and meet my Mum there. We had an awesome day !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The science road show

Yesterday our class went to the science road show at the Hastings intermediate. It was really Fun. There was lots of different exhibits and there was also a fire and ice show. My favourite part was the rotating curtain. You had to sit on a chair behind a curtain and press a peddle and the curtain would make you dizzy and your eyes go all foggy. I learned lots of new things and had an awesome time.

MTG trip

Last week our class went to the MTG museum in Napier. It was really cool. They told us all about the Napier earthquake in 1931. We got to dress up and do lots of acting and green screening. The best part was the acting. After the earthquake that hit fires started coming in and burning everything. There were some old jewelry that used to be silver but it got burnt in the fire so now its black.
